While attending this year's National Shooting Sports Foundation's SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Fred Feightner of W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery told me about a unique series of knives they were producing in partnership with master bladesmith Daniel Winkler. It's called the American Hero Series. So far, two knifes have been released -- each designed by combat-wounded Special Operations warriors who drew on their own personal and combat experiences to design knives built to last a lifetime.
