Salt Water Sportsman National Seminar Series Returns to Hampton, Virginia

The Salt Water Sportsman National Seminar Series will bring its mid-Atlantic edition to Hampton, Virginia, Jan. 13, 2018. The Dr. Mary T. Christian Auditorium at Thomas Nelson Community College (99 Thomas Nelson Drive, Hampton) will host the 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. event.

George Poveromo – Host of George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing on the NBC Sports Network headlines the program, along with Ric Burnley – Noted light tackle, lower Chesapeake Bay fishing specialist, writer and Regional Editor for Salt Water Sportsman.

Joining will be:

Wes Blow – Distinguished Bay, cobia and offshore wreck-fishing expert.

Capt Russ Kostinas – Premier Virginia Beach offshore trolling and live-baiting pro with Top Notch Sportfishing Charters.

Captain Rudy Levasseur – Distinguished inshore and offshore pro and specialist at sight fishing for cobia with LeGrande Slam Sportfishing Charters.

Dr. Ken Neill III – Noted authority on fishing Virginia’s coastal and offshore waters and holder of the Virginia State Record tautog of 24-pounds,three-ounces, aboard his vessel – Healthy Grin.

AFTER SEMINAR PARTY – After the Hampton seminar concludes at 3 p.m., ticket holders will be treated to a special party at the Hampton Bass Pro Shops from 5 - 9 p.m. A section of the store will be reserved for seminar attendees, where they can enjoy complimentary food, beverages and live musical entertainment.
